Mechidoptera

Mechidoptera moth Mechtorian sculpture by Doktor A.

The studies of Erasmus Swift have lead to the experimentation with new forms of Mechtorian.
Smaller and more agile than previously created.
This is the first example which was able to take to the air.
( Though admittedly with the additional aid of rotating blade assemblies as the research on wings is still proving problematic. )
The maiden flight of the Mechidoptera was woefully short-lived as it made the mistake of taking an objectionable interest in some jammy scones and was swatted by a maid.
